Arthur Hochheimer (1904, Bielefeld, Germany - 1979, Miami Beach, FL) and Alice née Schoenthal (1911, Rödelheim, Germany - 2004 Manhassett, NY) left Germany for the United States in 1938. Many of their family members, including Alice's sister Johanna (Henni) David née Schoenthal (1901-1944) and her husband, Julius David, stayed behind in Germany and perished in the Holocaust.
